Women will flirt to see if they get an acceptance, to check if they are looking good and are desirable, even when they are not fascinated with a man. They will flirt with a man they are only thinking about being friends with.

One way to get better hold of these situations is to look at all the communication modes that a woman is applying to communicate - Like verbal, emotional, physical, psychological, and sexual communications.

When a girl likes you she will certainly communicate that she likes you across all of the communications modes. When she is just playing around she will give you conflicting communications. So when you realize a woman flirting with you, but she does not support the flirting by showing you she likes you across ALL the communication channels - don't take the flirtation serious.
